Nikon D500: Lenses

This texts is to help your site visitors with pressing questions.
Picture

Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 D

My favorite lens! Fast, light and makes people pop! This really should be the first, "real" lens that people buy. Prime lenses force me to run around to frame the perfect shot!
Picture

Nikkor 18-200mm VR f/4.5-5.6

My oldest lense but still one of my most used. Crazy range, great option if I want to leave the camera bag at home! Slight vignetting at max zoom

Nikkor 180mm f/2.8D IF-ED

Traded in my Nikon 16-80 f/2.8-4E lens that came bundled with my D500. I wanted ZOOM with BOKEH at an affordable price. While I think I overpaid by $$, this was clean and available. Touted as the previous #1 Lens for photojournalists. Almost the same reach as the expensive Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8, but at half the size and a third of the cost!!!
Picture

Tokina 100mm F2.8 Macro

First new lens in 10 years! So sharp I might cut myself. Curious to see how this will affect my use of the 50mm, but I wanted something with more reach for portraits and product reviews.

WHEN we get monetized, I'll be able to do the following:
1) Start buying equipment on the wish list.
2) Free Giveaways!! I'll create care packages for loyal viewers who comment and make suggestions; Think shirts, shoes and service!
3) I'll be able to pay my contributors more! Like most teachers, personal trainers, nutritionists and yoga instructors are overworked and underpaid.
4) Expansion; NYC to Boston to LA. Growth takes time and $$$
5) Probably most importantly, I have pledged from day 1 to donate 50% of all revenue (not just profit) from this website, YouTube and Instagram to charity. TBD Q1 2018.
